The Staten Island Steel Pan Orchestra is an integral part of the WeCreate after school program which has an interdisciplinary focus and holistic approach to learning. It provides positive after school activities for teens and younger children. The melodic steel pans are the basis for all instruction in music and artistic performance. Steel pan music is one of many activities to do after school for WeCreate participants.
